What We Do

The Brown Integrity Group provides investigative and security advisory services for organizations facing complex risk, sensitive allegations, or security challenges that require experienced judgment. Our work begins with facts. Every engagement starts with disciplined investigation and careful assessment before recommendations are made.

Founded by Kevin M. Brown, a former Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and enterprise security leader at Amazon Web Services, the firm brings investigative discipline and real-world operational experience to corporate and institutional clients.

Our work focuses primarily on two areas: complex investigations and physical security assessments.

Complex Investigations

Organizations occasionally face situations where the facts are unclear but the consequences are significant. Internal misconduct, fraud, corruption, insider threats, reputational attacks, or threats directed at personnel can quickly escalate without experienced investigative leadership.

The Brown Integrity Group conducts independent investigations designed to establish facts, identify risk, and provide clear, defensible findings.

Investigative services may include:

• Internal corporate investigations
• Fraud, corruption, and misconduct inquiries
• Insider threat and employee integrity investigations
• Threat assessments involving employees or external actors
• Pre-litigation fact development and investigative support
• Coordination with outside counsel, regulators, or law enforcement when required

Our approach is methodical and discreet. We gather information, interview witnesses, analyze evidence, and document findings in a way that withstands scrutiny from executives, boards, regulators, and legal counsel.

Physical Security Assessments

Strong security programs begin with an honest evaluation of risk. Many organizations inherit legacy security measures that were installed years earlier and rarely tested against modern threats.

The Brown Integrity Group conducts independent physical security assessments that evaluate how well facilities, people, and operations are actually protected.

Assessments may include evaluation of:

• Access control and credentialing systems
• Surveillance systems and monitoring capabilities
• Perimeter protection and facility hardening
• Security staffing models and response protocols
• Insider threat and personnel risk indicators
• Event security and temporary operations planning
• Alignment with recognized security standards and industry practices

Our assessments focus on practical improvements that strengthen resilience without disrupting business operations.

Strategic Security Advisory

Some clients require more than a one-time assessment. The Brown Integrity Group also supports organizations with targeted security advisory services, including crisis planning, threat mitigation strategies, and development of security policies and procedures. These services are informed by decades of investigative, crisis response, and enterprise security leadership experience.

Professional Standards

The Brown Integrity Group operates under an Ohio Department of Public Safety Class A Private Investigator and Security Guard Services license. The firm maintains active professional memberships with ASIS International, the International Association of Interviewers, and the Ohio Association of Security and Investigative Services. These affiliations ensure our work reflects current professional standards, investigative practices, and security industry best practices.
